With over 100 miles of trails carved out for off-road vehicles and drivers of all levels including an area for kids under 16, Turkey Bay OHV Area has been called one of the most beautiful off-road trails in Kentucky and the country by all-terrain riders the world over. Located in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, with access to over 170,000 acres of undeveloped land and 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline, reaching true wilderness equates to less than a 4-hour drive from Lexington. This off-road park in Kentucky is near Murray, making it a perfect off-roading vacation spot for the whole family despite special events being cancelled through the end of 2020.

A privately-owned, 7,000-acre tract of land is home to Rush Off-Road trails, where families and experts alike go to train and test their skill traversing hills, climbing rocks, and watching the pros in events like UTV Racing’s R2R4 Survival Series. Lodging is even available on-site if you find yourself with a foot on the gas at sunset. They’re also enforcing social distancing in all public areas and have added plenty of hand-washing stations throughout the park.
