If you are looking for a midsize SUV that will let you conquer the city, the trail, and everything in between, then you cannot beat the 2021 Jeep Wrangler. Everything about the Wrangler is designed to give you an unbeatable driving experience in all kinds of conditions, whether you need to get around town or go off-road. Its two-door or four-door design and spacious interior make this a terrific option for city driving and running errands or for loading up with everything you need for a weekend (or a week) of camping and hitting the trail.
There are four different standard engine options available for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler, including a powerful diesel engine, so you can get precisely the right level of power and performance for what you need. Unlike other midsize SUVs out there, the Wrangler is a Jeep first and foremost, which means legendary off-road performance. There are several different 4x4 options available, so you can choose the level of capability and off-road navigation that is right for you. With available 33-inch tires, an incredible crawl ratio, and front and rear electronic locking differentials, you can be confident on any trail.
However, one of the models we are most excited about this year is the all-new 4xe model, which delivers all of the legendary performance and off-road functionality of the Jeep Wrangler with an innovative hybrid powertrain. This gives you remarkable functionality, including a full 30 inches of water-fording capability, along with a range of more than 400 miles and about 25 miles of all-electric range. If you have been hoping for a hybrid vehicle that would let you explore the roads less traveled, then the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is what you have been waiting for. Come visit us at Dan Cummins CDJR today to see the 2021 Wrangler and the rest of the amazing Jeep lineup for yourself.

You have four different engine setups to choose from with the 2021 Jeep Wrangler (not including the 4xe hybrid model), two of which feature the same engine with different options. No matter which engine you choose, you get excellent performance and a great driving experience; it just comes down to what kind of capability you need. With that in mind, let us take a look at what the Wrangler has to offer.
The standard engine on the Jeep Wrangler is a 3.6L V6 with automatic stop/start technology, which provides you with up to 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is an excellent standard engine, though it is also available with an eTorque mild hybrid system. If you choose the V6 with eTorque, you get more impressive starting power, and it offers exceptional rock crawling performance when you go off-road.
For terrific overall performance, there is also an available 2.0L Turbo I-4 engine that gives you up to 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. You can see this is a bit less horsepower but more torque than the standard engine, which makes it a fantastic option for going off-road. Finally, there is a 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel engine available that delivers up to 260 hp and an astounding 442 lb-ft of torque. The low-end performance of this engine is truly fantastic thanks to all of that torque, making it an amazing choice for going off-road – as long as you are interested in a diesel engine.
When it comes to off-road performance, few other vehicles can approach what the 2021 Jeep Wrangler is capable of, particularly for a midsize SUV. One thing to note is that the Wrangler is available in a number of different trims, and the features that each one has to offer can impact the off-road performance of a given model. Also, you can choose a Wrangler with either two doors or four, which can also have an effect on how it handles both on and off the road.
That being said, when properly configured for it, the off-road performance of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler is the stuff of legends. It has certainly earned its Trail-Rated badge. There are numerous 4x4 systems available, including a standard Command-Trac system, an available full-time Selec-Trac 4x4 system, and the Rubicon’s Rock-Trac 4x4 system that is available as either a part-time or a full-time option. This gives you total control over the kind of 4WD system you have with your vehicle.
Other amazing off-road features include a selectable tire fill alert that lets you easily hit target goals for filling up and airing down your tires. Numerous steel skid plates provide protection for the underside of your Jeep Wrangler, while available 33-inch all-terrain tires ensure you can maintain control no matter what you encounter on the trail. Front and rear Tru-Lok electronic locking rear differentials can lock and evenly distribute power as you need it, ensuring optimal traction in just about any kind of condition.
With the 2021 Jeep Wrangler, a lot of people are paying special attention to the all-new 4xe model, and we do not blame them at all. The 4xe is the first hybrid Jeep Wrangler of its kind, with incredible performance and all of the off-road functionality you would expect in a Wrangler, combined with incredible fuel economy. No matter what type of driving experience you are looking for in your Jeep Wrangler, the 4xe can deliver and keep you away from the gas pump for longer than any other model.
Although it is a hybrid model, the 4xe is a Jeep Wrangler through and through, starting with its powerful 2.0L Turbocharged engine that delivers up to 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque for incredible overall performance. Thanks to its hybrid design, this is incredibly quick torque that lets you go from 0 to 60 in just 6 seconds in the Wrangler 4xe.
The hybrid system is also very efficient, giving you about 25 miles of all-electric range, as well as more than 400 miles of total range. Best of all, you can easily switch between different modes for whatever the situation calls for: ELECTRIC to use only battery power, E-SAVE to reserve battery power for later, or HYBRID for a balance that gives you maximum range and fuel efficiency.
Of course, the 4xe is not only an amazing hybrid model; it is also a Trail-Rated Jeep Wrangler worthy of its name. With either a Selec-Trac or Rock-Trac 4WD system, plus a number of other fantastic features, the 4xe will let you conquer the trail and save gas while you do so. It even has up to 30 inches of water fording depth like other Wrangler models, making it an incredibly fuel-efficient option for going off-road.
Even though you might be interested in a 2021 Jeep Wrangler primarily for going off-road, it is also a very functional and practical choice for running errands or handling anything else you need to do. Inside the Wrangler, you get up to 104 cu.ft. of passenger volume, so you have plenty of room for your friends and family. You also get up to about 31.7 cu.ft. of interior cargo space in the two-door model and about 72.4 cu.ft. of total interior cargo space if you opt for the four-door model.
In terms of style and luxury, the 2021 Wrangler has excellent options across the board, with a lot more to offer on the higher trims. For example, looking at the legendary Rubicon trim, you get premium cloth seating with leather-trimmed seating available, as well as heated front seats and an available 8-inch Infotainment display. There is also an available Alpine premium audio system, automatic dimming rearview mirror, and an available heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel for added comfort and luxury.
