The basic Hemi engine for the Ram 3500 comes equipped with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission. This one has 410 horsepower and 429 lb-feet of torque. You’ll get the highest maximum payload with this engine at 7,680 lbs but the lowest towing capacity at 18,210 lbs.
