Why a Used Wrangler Is a Perfect Budget-Friendly Option for Adventurous Drivers

The Jeep Wrangler is truly an automobile icon and even a part of American history. In fact, though the Wrangler didn’t come out until 1986, it was inspired by an earlier Jeep vehicle that the US Army drove through battles in World War II. That should give you some idea of just how tough the Wrangler is. It has a fighting spirit, and even if today you (hopefully) don’t need such a rugged off-road SUV to go to any actual battles, you can use it to battle the elements in your many great adventures ahead. As a proud, used Jeep dealership, we love sending our customers with an explorer’s spirit off our lot behind the wheel of a Wrangler. The Wrangler has certainly enjoyed upgrades in the ways of infotainment, driver assist, and similar technology features over the years. However, its core design and features have remained the same because Jeep sees no reason to mess with perfection. Neither do we. The Wrangler is simply timeless. When you’re looking for that perfect vehicle to help you soak up every ounce of adventure in this lifetime just a bit more, we know the Wrangler is the vehicle for you. You Can Make the Wrangler Your Own and Experience the Great Outdoors One of the most distinguishing characteristics of the Wrangler is just how customizable it is. But, it’s not only customizable in the same ways other SUVs are. Sure, it has several powertrain and transmission options, plus tons of available comfort and convenience features. And there are a ton of trims to choose from. But the Wrangler really stands out among adventure enthusiasts because of how many ways you can customize the body. First, you have two-door and four-door options to give every row their own entrance or keep it simple with a two-door model. Then, you have the power to remove the top, doors, and even the windshield. This creates an incredible open-air experience. If you’re looking to feel like one with nature, you just can’t get that experience with any other vehicle the way you can with the Wrangler. Let fresh air pass through the vehicle from every direction. Get a nice tan while you’re at it by taking that roof off. There’s a reason the Jeep is the brand of choice for Indiana Jones – it allows for unhindered access to your surroundings. Jones might use that to wrangle an anaconda or shoot at a villain, but you can use it to simply feel exhilarated. Most of us spend the majority of our days cooped up inside under fluorescent lights. The Wrangler is for that driver who wants to completely immerse themselves in the outdoors when they break away from their responsibilities. You don’t find that experience in any other vehicle. There are, of course, several engine options on most model years. There have been several powerful V8s and V6s throughout the generations, as well as turbocharged and diesel options. Then, there are different transmission choices. These choices let Wrangler drivers design the perfect adventure machine for their needs, favoring power, fuel economy, or both when they need it. It’s an Off-Road Superstar The Wrangler is made for the adventurers and free spirits of the world. It’s designed to empower you to go where you want to go, even if there are no paved roads or traffic signs to be found there. For many years now, every Jeep Wrangler has had a standard 4x4 drivetrain. That means you get all the traction you need, even when the ground beneath you is made more of mud and sand than concrete or asphalt. Then, there’s the Wrangler’s Rubicon trim. This serious off-roading superstar is designed to help you crawl over rocks, get out of mud ruts, and so much more. Its low gear range lets you get maximum torque and steer or crawl your way up steep terrain. You’ve probably seen videos of the Rubicon crawling up the sides of boulder-littered hills. That’s the power of that low-gear range. It also has rocker protection in case you go over some sharp and dangerous objects and special tires designed to do well in the mud. We regularly have drivers who are into extreme off-roading ask us if the Wrangler can go anywhere. To that, we proudly answer, “Yes!” You can also bring whatever you need to maximize your time at your destination, like an ATV or boat, thanks to the solid towing abilities of the Wrangler. Go where your thrill-seeking heart wants to go with confidence in the Wrangler. It Has a Truly Unique Style The looks of the Jeep Wrangler have remained mainly untouched for decades. People love the look of the Jeep. Its boxy, rugged styling simply beckons you to explore the unknown and tackle rough roads. The cheeky vertical-slit grille with round headlights just screams, “It’s go time!” The point is that you’ll never get sick of the look of your Wrangler. Other trendier SUV styles come and go, but the Wrangler has been a classic for a long time. It’s hard not to smile when you look at a Jeep Wrangler because you know it’s on its way to a great adventure. It Has Excellent Resale Value It’s difficult to imagine you’ll ever get bored of your Jeep Wrangler, but if, for some reason, you do need or want to sell it one day, the great news is that the Wrangler has one of the best resale values on the market. It depreciates significantly less in the first five years than most competitors. So long as you take good care of your pre-owned Wrangler, you don’t have to take a huge loss when you sell it (except for the giant Jeep-shaped hole that will be left in your heart). Adventure Awaits in a Used Jeep Wrangler If you’re tired of feeling jealous when someone passes you in their cool and rugged Wrangler while you’re in your totally fine but admittedly average vehicle, it’s time to get your own model. The Wrangler is just one of those vehicles that speaks to people with an adventurous spirit. When the Wrangler bug bites you, there’s no looking back. You just need to get one of these adventure-ready SUVs for yourself. Even if you are shopping on a budget, there are many pre-owned options available, so you can fill that need for adventure at a price that fits your budget. We at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris carry the Wrangler in its many forms and would love to help you pick out your perfect model. We carry a great selection of used models, so you can check out a particular past generation you’re after. Our finance center will even help you pick a payment plan that best fits your financial situation. We know the Wrangler will live up to your expectations and power the off-road journeys you have planned. Drivers with an urge to break free of the grid have long loved the Wrangler. With 4x4 capabilities and an open-air design, it lets you go where you want to go and thoroughly experience the great outdoors. Visit us and get yours today.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys or the Wrangler Sport: Which Model Is for You?

The Wrangler has been a favorite SUV in the off-road enthusiast community since Jeep debuted it in 1986. It offers open-air freedom to drivers who want to feel the air and enjoy the adventure when they explore off the beaten path and out in nature. Its boxy looks, bold vertical line grille, and iconic round headlights are unmistakable. Even just looking at a Wrangler activates one’s adventurous spirit. The Wrangler has many variations today, boasting a range of utility, special features, and unique personalities. If you’re looking for a Jeep dealer near Maysville, we invite you to visit us here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris. This region of Mason County is rich with natural landscapes that are perfect for off-roading, hiking, camping and more. From Legacy Trail to Carter Caves State Resort Park, there are tons of places you’ll love going in your Wrangler. The question is: which model should you get? Many people consider the Sport versus the Willys. The Sport is the base trim, which is certainly packed with excellent features like a powerful engine and the 4X4 capability that’s standard on all trims. However, the Willys boasts some features that the Sport doesn’t — and that could appeal to more advanced off-roaders and outdoor enthusiasts. Here’s a look at the main components these two models share, and then how the Willys levels up. Common Features Between the Willys and Sport No matter which of these two trims you get, you will enjoy rugged capabilities and an all-star 4X4 system that gets you traction wherever you go. Each model also has the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine, which gets you the Wrangler’s maximum towing capability of 5,000 pounds, so you can tow and trailer a moderately-sized camper, ATV or boat with both the Sport and Willys. Each trim has a eight-speed automatic transmission, and a six-speed manual exclusively on the base engine for those who like a more intimate experience when gear shifting. Classic full doors with roll-up windows can be found on both trims, along with the option for a hard or soft top. Take off the top when you want to let air flow through your Wrangler and feel one with nature. You also have the option to swap in half doors with uppers on either trim.No matter which trim you choose, you’ll get Jeep’s advanced Uconnect 5 System paired with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. This system gives you fun features like adventure guides and trail maps to help you explore remote terrain. Smartphone compatibility comes standard on both trims, too. Consider the Willys if You’re An Off-Road Enthusiast What we often tell customers who are considering these two trims is that the Willys is better for longer days — and even multi-day trips — on the trails than the Sport. That’s because the Willys has several standard features that are only available for an upcharge or unavailable on the Sport. The Willys also has some great available features that are not available on the Sport. When you get to know these features, you’ll see that the Willys’ higher starting price point is justified. The Willys Has An Excellent Lighting System For Night And Poor Weather Conditions If you plan on staying overnight at your off-road site or at least exploring after the sun has set, you’ll appreciate the advanced lighting systems on the Willys. These include available front LED fog lamps that can cut through mist, rain, dust and (of course) fog. Positioned beneath the headlamps, these fog lamps will illuminate your path in hard-to-see conditions. You will also get LED premium reflector headlamps standard that are not available on the Sport. LED headlamps are an excellent alternative to halogen ones for off-roaders specifically because they pull less fuel from the vehicle than traditional headlamps. If you don’t want your adventures cut short because of a need to travel back to town for more gas, you’ll like these long-lasting headlamps. There are also available LED tail lamps on the Willys that are not available for the Sport. These are useful for letting other vehicles out on the trails know you’re there in low-light settings. Additionally, the Willys gets standard automatic headlamps that will turn on in low-light settings to illuminate your path. These are also not available on the Sport. The Willys Has Convenience Features That Make Wilderness Excursions More Enjoyable Throughout the Willys, you’ll also find other comfort and convenience features that make it great for long trips. One of these is the available air conditioning with Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control. After a long, hot day on the trails during a summer hike, this is a welcome addition. When you slip into your vehicle and turn on the engine, you’ll have your preferred temperature settings instantly come on. Here’s another summer-ready feature that we think is very cool: Deep-Tint Sunscreen Windows. These can cut down on the UV radiation that makes its way through the glass, and onto your skin. On cold days, the standard power-heated mirrors will melt away ice to give you clear exterior visibility quickly. So you don’t need to get out and manually clean off the mirrors before you can hit the road. An Interior That’s as Enjoyable as It Is Practical When you come in from a day of hiking on muddy trails, you’ll appreciate the standard all-weather Mopar floor mats in the Willys. These should help keep the built-in floors clean and prolong their lifespan. Plus, they’re easy to take out and wipe off. If you want to listen to tunes to hype you up for your day of kayaking or ATVing, you’ll love the available Alpine premium audio system in the Willys. This system is not available in the Sport so if you demand the best in your listening experience, you’ll want the Willys. We also make a point to tell customers that only the Willys is Wi-Fi compatible, so if staying connected while you’re out exploring is non-negotiable, you might want to spring for the Willys — especially if you love to explore places that get poor phone service. Take Your Adventures to the Next Level With the Willys We’re ready to show drivers the terrific Wrangler Sport and Willys. We are confident that off-road enthusiasts will love the capabilities of both of these trims. The combination of 4X4 capabilities and an open-air design cannot be beat — it’s the perfect recipe for enjoying a day off the grid. That said, if you’re serious about spending extended periods in off-road environments, we recommend getting the Willys. Our team is ready to show you these excellent off-road SUVs. We are experts on the full Wrangler lineup and are here to help you pick your perfect trim. The brand plans to offer all its models with 4xe capabilities by 2025, meaning that fan favorites like the commuter-friendly Renegade and the tough-as-nails Gladiator pickup will be equipped with some of the most exciting hybrid technology on the market. Creating a driving experience that’s cleaner, more peaceful, and just as capable is the main mission of Jeep, and it’s already off to a great start with its current 4xe models. A red 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is shown parked off-road after visiting a Richmond Ram dealer.

A Modern-Day Pioneer: The Ram 2500 Rebel

When it comes to Richmond, KY, two aspects of the city make it truly unique among its contemporaries. The first is that there is an abundance of highways and interstates that crisscross through the area, making it accessible and allowing its residents to take off from the city limits and go exploring. The second, which certainly relates to the first in some aspects, are two individuals born and raised in Richmond, KY, who made a sizable impact on American history and the taming of the wild frontier. The first of these is Daniel Boone, a pioneer responsible for the settling of Kentucky and establishing several trails that allowed people to begin the westward migration. The other is Kit Carson, a pioneer and scout who was a contemporary of John Sutter, whose location would usher in the largest westward migration during the California gold rush of 1849. The connection between the city of Richmond and exploring new worlds is certainly an intriguing one, and here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris, we’re proud to be purveyors of another pioneer, the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel. Representing the high-end of heavy-duty, it manages to embody the spirit of bravery and boldness that Richmond has always been associated with. Consider us more than your local Richmond Ram dealer, but the jumping-off point for you to tame the frontiers and accomplish the impossible. A Rebel With a Cause The 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is what happens when the necessity of capability and the lust for freedom come together. The Rebel manages to encapsulate all of the prowess and potency necessary for a heavy-duty work truck. Yet, it also can embrace the path less traveled and handle the rigors of off-roading. Such a combination is ideal for the modern-day pioneer. And while you might not need to plow the fields or clear large quantities of land, the Rebel is one of the most dependable heavy-duty workhorses that can be employed for any arduous task. And its extra capabilities mean that you have the ability to play as hard as you work. So, let’s take a look at the potency and performance that Ram has bestowed upon us. Putting the "Power" in Powertrains The 2500 Rebel has two available powertrains, each with remarkable power that allows you to move mountains with minimal difficulty. The standard offering for the 2500 takes the form of a 6.4L HEMI V8. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the base offering propels the truck forward with a whopping 410 hp and allows for a capacity to generate 429 lb-ft of torque. For those looking to maximize efficiency, look no further than the diesel-fueled Cummins 6.7L six-cylinder engine. With 370 hp and a monstrous 850 lb-ft of torque, it’s more than apparent that Ram is proving how viable diesel can be in the modern age. Towing and Payload Chances are, if you’re looking at the Rebel 2500, you probably have some arduous tasks and heavy burdens to carry. And, even if you don’t, your adventures might require some towing and trailering. With its ability to handle the rigors of work and play, the Rebel 2500 takes capability to a brand new level. The term “HEMI” has a considerable amount of history behind it, as it became a common household word during the golden age of the muscle car. For Rebel owners who choose to utilize the standard HEMI V8, they’re given some excellent hauling ability. The HEMI pulls 16,870 lbs with minimal effort, and its payload abilities outshine many competing vehicles in its class with a maximum capacity of 3,140 lbs. With its ability to generate high horsepower and torque at low RPMs, the Cummins diesel engine is equally capable of delivering the goods when necessary. A towing capacity of 14,920 lbs is among the best tow ratings in the industry, and a payload that can hold 1,970 is ideal for just about any job. Off-Road Ready The most exciting aspect of the Rebel 2500 is its ability to go from workhorse to trailblazing pioneer. Off-road ready and capable of taming any terrain, Ram has added a host of extras to make the Rebel ready to embark where other trucks cannot. As expected, the Rebel comes standard with 4WD to make any journey possible. A set of 33-inch all-terrain tires are placed upon a pair of 20-inch wheels. Even more impressive is the added ground clearance, which extends past 11 inches to make obstructions and obstacles a distant memory and a non-issue. Combined with a limited-slip differential, you can rest assured that traction is never lost, and the Ram will hold its grip on the ground like a strip of velcro. Tires and traction aside, the Rebel also comes equipped with other additions to give you an added layer of protection while you’re away from civilization. These take the form of a set of shocks designed by Bilstein and a variety of skid plates to protect the gas tank and underbelly of the vehicle while you travel on gravel and dirt. Interior Sophistication While there’s a lot to be excited about in terms of capability and prowess when discussing the Rebel 2500, we felt it was also important to shine a light on the sophisticated attributes of the vehicle’s interior. You might be exploring the wild frontier or accomplishing a task of astronomical proportions, but the interior is where you’ll spend most of your time. Ram has gained a reputation in recent years for maximizing the comfort and sophistication of its interior designs to complement its rugged capability. Acoustic glass and active noise cancellation are in place to accentuate the comfort level, including climate control, a stylish infotainment screen with compatibility with both Apple and Android products, and voice-activated navigation. Merging technological advances with the comfort that one might expect in a high-end European luxury sedan, Ram offers an unrivaled interior design masterclass. Get Behind the Wheel of the 2023 Ram 200 Rebel Today It’s well-known that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. As 2023 is the inaugural year for the Rebel trim of the Ram 2500, we think it’s more than safe to say that it’s certainly left a considerable mark on the truck-buying public. Proving that off-road capability and heavy-duty workloads can be executed by a single vehicle, Ram once again proves its worth and is more than capable of taking the pickup truck to new heights previously thought impossible. Time Travel Through History in the Jeep Willys

Remakes are rarely ever as good as the original. The problem is capturing the nostalgia of what came before and finding a way to do it again, only differently. That's why, rather than remaking the original, Jeep chose to be inspired by it. If you spot the new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris, your local Jeep dealer, it may spark a sense of familiarity but, at the same time, show a glimpse into the future of Jeep. The redesigned 2024 Jeep Wrangler has no shortage of new and exciting features designed to make you drool. However, it is the Jeep Wrangler Willys that takes those new ideas and throws in a nod to the “OG,” consequently taking us back in time to the start of it all. It was more than eighty years ago that the first Willys made its appearance, starting us on the road to the latest and greatest in the Jeep lineup. The Willys MB, the Civilian Jeep, and the Jeepster In 1940, war was imminent, and there was a need for a vehicle that could handle the rough road ahead. In a blink of an eye, Willys-Overland produced the very first "Jeep"––officially known as the Willys MB. The prototype enlisted a 4x4 system to tackle rough terrain, big meaty tires, and the iconic blocky body that would forever signal adventure. Over time, the Willys MB changed and evolved, eventually becoming the CJ or "Civilian Jeep." With wartime in its rearview mirror, the heroic Jeep was re-tasked with aiding farmers and workers. The jump to civilian life was an important step in the evolution that would eventually bring us to the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys. In the mid-1940s, the Jeep CJ received a makeover becoming the Jeepster. A sports car version of a Jeep, the Jeepster is highly collectible today and a great example of the creativity and versatility enabled by Jeep. However, this new styling didn’t mean the end of the line for the Willys. Instead, it only added to the robust Jeep lineup. The CJ and the Wrangler: A Tale as Old as Time The CJ would see many changes over the years, eventually leading the way to the Wrangler. One important change to be made to the CJ line was the introduction of the CJ-3B in 1953. A more powerful version of the classic Jeep, the CJ-3B was very successful and stayed in production for fifteen years. It led the way to the CJ-5, a refined version of the Jeep that was larger, stronger, and all-around better for the everyday driver. Eventually, the Jeep brand would land in the hands of AMC, one of the many businesses that took a crack at the potentially cursed car company. If you know about the Jeep curse, then you know that many companies have fallen victim to it. The original Willys-Overland was merged with Kaiser Motors in the 1950s, only for the renamed Kaiser Jeep to be bought out by AMC in 1970. The curse would see company owners throw up their hands in defeat and financial hardship despite offering a product that was literally making history. It was in the hands of AMC that the CJ-5 would receive a shiny new V8 and some updated technology to match. One such piece of technology was a Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential, a feature that would be carried over to the larger CJ-7 (the CJ-6 was another take on a stretched Jeep but never really took off). Fitted with an automatic transmission, the CJ-7 was a truly extraordinary vehicle that honored and improved upon previous generations. Finally, in 1987, the Jeep Wrangler was born. Although it was quite a change from the original CJ lineup, it still managed to embody everything the Jeep stood for. However, it was this new take on the original that would usher in a change of ownership once again. The struggling AMC was sold to Chrysler, which took the historical Jeep line to new heights. One factor in Chrysler’s success was the development of the Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler hit the roads ready to inspire adventure and equipped with plenty of off-road gadgets and know-how to conquer anything that was thrown at it. With upgraded suspension, improved dimensions, and killer style, the Wrangler pointed Chrysler and Jeep in the right direction. The new model was a massive hit and showed that the Jeep could survive. The door was open for further expansion to the Wrangler line, resulting in a community of Jeep enthusiasts. The Jeep Wrangler of Today The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys is a special amalgamation of heroic history and innovation. From the outside, the Wrangler Willys looks sleek and modern but has more than a hint of the past. The iconic rounded headlamps, squared wheel wells, seven-slot grille, and elongated hood are all elements we can see from past generations. The Willys trim even features Willys badging, a fun throwback to the past. The 2024 Wrangler is equipped with a powerful V6 engine that produces 285 hp. The V6 is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and is fitted with a Tru-Lok locking rear differential in the Willys. Designed to handle the rough road ahead, the Wrangler is a master of traction, utilizing its standard 4x4 capabilities to get the most out of the vehicle. The Jeep Wrangler Willys is Trail Rated and ready to forge ahead. Improved ground clearance, exceptional approach and departure angles, and a tight turning radius make it easy to maneuver through rough and rugged terrain. The Wrangler is even designed to take to the water. With strategically placed components and waterproofing, the Wrangler can wade through nearly three feet of water with ease. New additions like rock rails and skid plates address modern driver needs, as does the technology that fills the Wrangler. New for 2024, a standard 12.3-inch color touchscreen provides easy access to important features that are used both on and off the road. Extras like wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto make sure that every adventure is a connected one. There is even an available Wi-Fi hotspot option, definitely an addition from the present but one we are happy to see. Learning From the Past to Improve the Future With so many fantastic features on the 2024 Wrangler, it can be easy to forget that these advancements would not have happened without past innovations. Trying to create a revolutionary wartime vehicle resulted in a tough and enduring model that has continued to influence the automotive world for close to a century. The push for more power resulted in new styling and the use of more powerful engine components. The need for both military and civilian use inspired a system that could handle varying terrain, and the shift to civilian life encouraged designers to include more seating and a roomier, more comfortable interior. Every problem over the years has resulted in a solution that has led us to the latest Jeep Wrangler Willys, a wonderful combination of past and present. You don't have to live in the past to celebrate it, and the Wrangler Willys is proof of that. The Willys changed the war, the Wrangler changed the automotive world, and the 2024 Wrangler Willys might just change the way you drive.

The 2023 Ram 1500 Packs Quite a Punch

Winchester drivers often come to us for help selecting their Ram truck. With models ranging from the light-duty Ram 1500 to heavy-duty options like the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500, it can be difficult to know which grade is correct for your needs. As your go-to Winchester Ram dealer, the team here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris is always happy to guide you through the process of picking out your truck, so you can have all of the power and features you need without paying for anything you won’t be using. For many DIYers and outdoor enthusiasts, the light-duty Ram 1500 is more than ready to handle your needs. The massive, heavy-duty trucks from Ram are impressive and fun––we can’t argue against that––however, we tend to guide buyers towards the Ram 1500 when they are looking for something for moderate workloads or weekend excursions. When drivers check out the Ram 1500, they’re usually shocked by how much it has to offer. There’s nothing basic about its impressive features. Ram has built its half-ton model to pack quite the punch, so drivers with modest towing and hauling needs can enjoy some pretty awe-inspiring features. Here’s what you can expect if you visit us to shop for the 2023 Ram 1500. Tons of Power and Trailering Features The 2023 Ram 1500 has a total of three engine options, each offering dynamic power and solid fuel efficiency figures. This lineup of engines caters to drivers with different needs. When you opt for the 5.7L HEMI V8 with eTorque, you will enjoy a towing capacity of up to 12,750 lbs. Many of our shoppers are surprised that a light-duty truck can tow that much weight––but it can. The Ram 1500 can easily pull a camper, boat, or heavy equipment when fitted with the HEMI V8. Another terrific engine option is the standard 3.6L Pentastar V6 with eTorque. The eTorque technology is a type of mild-hybrid system that uses regenerative braking to capture energy and store it for later. This makes the V6 with eTorque perfect for Winchester drivers who need an everyday vehicle or a commuter truck to travel long distances for jobs. Finally, the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 combines impressive power with fuel efficiency for the best of both worlds. It’s not every day that you see a manufacturer offer such a versatile array of powertrain technologies in a pickup truck. If you plan on utilizing the trailering abilities of the Ram 1500 often, you’ll want to know you’re in control of whatever you’re trailering. That’s why we love to show off the available Trailer Reverse Steering Control feature. Here’s how it works: when you are backing up while trailering, you simply use a knob on the dash to tell the truck which way you want to go, and the vehicle’s system will take over the truck’s steering, giving you one less thing to focus on, and more command over your load. There is also an available integrated trailer brake controller to help you keep heavy loads in check. Thoughtful Interior Touches for Your Driving Experience The 2023 Ram 1500 also has many available interior features that will make long drives much more enjoyable. First off, it has available active noise control in the cabin. This can create a peaceful, quiet ride even when driving down bumpy roads. If you work on noisy job sites and around tons of power tools, it’s nice to slide into a serene cabin at the end of the day. Pair the active noise control with the available 19-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Audio System, and you don’t have to listen to anything you don’t want to while hearing the music you do want crystal clear. In fact, no other truck of this class boasts this many available speakers. You’ll feel like you’re enjoying a private concert in your truck cab. If you regularly travel through beautiful natural landscapes and want to take in the scenery, add the available dual-pane panoramic sunroof with its 10 square feet of glass. This is a nice feature to have for those who take a lot of road trips to natural landscapes near Winchester, like Daniel Boone National Forest or Red River Gorge Geological Area. If you’re always exploring new terrain, you’ll also love the available TomTom navigation built into the Uconnect 5 NAV infotainment system. It has split-screen capability to show you various data points at once and pinch-and-zoom technology so you can get a closer look at what’s to come. It even boasts 3D graphics and can display points of interest along your route, like rest stops, restaurants, and gas stations, on the optional 12-inch digital instrument cluster. Cargo Compartments Everywhere The Ram 1500 has two excellent bed size options for stashing your tools, materials, dirt bikes, and the like. However, when it comes to those creature comforts and road trip essentials, you need plenty of secure cargo space, and the 2023 Ram 1500 has them. One of the best features is the optional RamBox Cargo Management System, which adds lockable waterproof compartments built into the sides of the bed above the wheel wells. Inside the cabin, you have available in-floor storage, which is perfect for stashing valuables when you are away from your vehicle. There is also a huge reconfigurable center console, ideal for keeping things like sunglasses and phone chargers nearby. Plus, there are door pockets for even more places to keep small belongings, from snacks to maps. There are even available upper and lower glove compartments for your convenience. A Luxury Package That Wows Drivers For ultimate luxury, the 2023 Ram 1500 can be equipped with the Limited Elite Package. This adds gorgeous leather-wrapped seats, open-pore wood trim, a jeweled gear shift knob, and exclusive badging. It also boasts a 12-inch digital gauge cluster where you can see data like tire pressure and your next turn. Backseat passengers will enjoy 45.2 inches of rear legroom and rear seats that recline eight degrees, making this a great passenger vehicle. DIYers will love the Multifunction Tailgate on this trim, with two swing-open doors and several convenient configurations. Plus, there’s a thoughtful step to help you get in and out of your truck bed.
