Builders, movers, and DIYers, we have the rugged 2024 Ram 2500 for sale and ready for you to explore at our dealership. We absolutely love showing off all that this terrific heavy-duty truck has to offer our customers who need a pickup that can tackle tough challenges at home and on the job site. We know the Ram 2500 is up to the most demanding work environments and tasks, and we’re proud to carry it. As long as Ram has made this full-size, hefty truck, the manufacturer has always ensured it boasts competitive capabilities for its vehicle class and serious power beneath the hood. However, what we’ve been particularly impressed with is Ram’s continued dedication to adding thoughtful features that address the real-life problems of hard workers.
The 2024 Ram 2500 is a testament to Ram’s devotion to making trucks that help make hard work easier. This is perhaps the most obvious in the bed area of the Laramie trim, where drivers will find a couple of features we think will impress the hardest of workers. The Laramie has a reputation for being a fantastic entry-level heavy-duty truck. That remains true, as it boasts a stunning cabin with quality materials, a great sound system, and innovative technology. However, it also has some treats in store for DIYers via the special tailgate and bed features. Here are two thoughtful features hiding in the rear of the 2024 Ram 2500.
The Dampened Tailgate With Power Release
For as long as there have been trucks, there has been the tailgate dilemma. Serious truck lovers know this dilemma. You have to raise and lower the tailgate with such precision, giving it enough support so that it doesn’t come crashing down on you. Manual tailgates are inconvenient and impractical. That’s why Ram gave the 2024 2500 Laramie a dampened tailgate. It is made to lower slowly and quietly, and there are many reasons you’ll love it. Plus, it has a remote release option, allowing you to open the tailgate via a button in the cabin and on your keyfob. Here are reasons we love these features.
Extend the Life of Your Tailgate
When you are working with a manual tailgate, you’re simply bound to drop it sometimes. If you lead busy days full of loading and unloading a truck bed multiple times from sunrise to sunset, you just won’t manually lower your tailgate perfectly every time. You’ll drop it, and over time, that’s tough on its construction. A dampened tailgate can extend the life of the tailgate by ensuring it always goes down slowly and with ease.
Take It Easy on Your Arms
Manually lifting and lowering a tailgate is also tough on your arms. If you’re a contractor or have another job in which you must open and shut a tailgate dozens of times a day, you can really strain the muscles in your arms throughout your career. A dampened tailgate takes the strain off of you, so you don’t have to fully support the weight of the tailgate as you lift and lower it.
Reduce Noise Pollution
The dampened tailgate doesn’t only go down slowly — it also goes down quietly. Between power drills and hammers, there’s already so much noise on a work site. A dampened tailgate that lowers quietly reduces noise pollution on a work site. It also reduces noise pollution at home, so you don’t upset the family or neighbors when you’re loading up your truck early in the morning.
Load Up With Full Arms
Thanks to the remote tailgate release, you can easily open your tailgate with just a simple push of a button on your keyfob. So, when you’re balancing boxes of materials or tools as you approach your truck bed, you don’t need to set everything down just to open the tailgate. Just push that button on your keyfob, and it’ll open automatically.
Open It Up for Friends or Colleagues
You can also open the remote release tailgate from inside the truck bed. So if you’re sitting inside, in the middle of looking up directions or getting a playlist ready, you don’t need to hop out and open the tailgate for a colleague whose arms are full. Just press a button in the cab and open the tailgate for them.

The RamBox Cargo Management System
The Laramie also has the available RamBox Cargo Management System. This is a terrific addition for those who carry expensive equipment and want to store them in a protective compartment.
A Versatile Storage Compartment
The first feature we love to show shoppers is the versatile storage compartment in the bed. It is weatherproof, lockable, and drainable. So that means that it gives you a place to store valuables that don’t fit in the cab. Lock it up, and it’ll be safe from thieves and rainfall. Beyond that, it can even act as your cooler. Thanks to its drain, this compartment can be loaded up with ice, beverages, and snacks. Simply drain the melted ice when you’re done using it.
A 115-Volt Outlet
With this cargo management system also comes a 115-volt outlet. Plug anything with a max rating of 180 watts into this outlet. That means items like laptops and tablets — even many power tools, can be powered by the back of your pickup. If you’re away from the office all day and spend most of your time on dusty, remote work sites, this is a very useful feature to have.
Auto Level Rear Air Suspension
Finally, we love showing drivers the auto-level rear suspension system on the Laramie trim. It gives you the option to lower the rear ride height of your truck, which creates optimal rear-loading conditions and even makes it easier to trailer/tow items. When you aren’t towing, you can return the rear to the normal ride height. You can make this adjustment from within the cab using a simple button. The button will blink until the desired height has been met, and then it will stop blinking so you know you’re ready to drive.

Ram has once again delivered on its promise to make hard working trucks for hard working individuals. They go beyond the core characteristics of amazing towing and payload figures and a durable frame. They add thoughtful features that make the real-time struggles of DIYers and contractors easier to manage.
The Laramie might be known as the entry-level trim, but it offers an array of features to simply make difficult tasks easier. Many drivers only look at the enhancements in the cabin of the Laramie trim, but we like to show off those hiding in the rear area. The smartly designed tailgate, with its damping and remote release function, will help you enjoy more years out of your tailgate without wearing it out (or wearing yourself out). The rear cargo management system is loaded with convenient features for anyone who is out from sunup to sundown on work sites.

Most people look at a pickup truck and think that all of the storage magic happens in the bed. There is some truth to that. When you need to haul furniture home you found at an antique store, that bed comes in handy. When you want to take a few dirt bikes out to a trail, plus a large cooler full of beverages you’ll crack open after your ride, the bed is useful. If you need to transport massive tools and materials to a work site on a regular basis, you’ll want a pickup bed. If you’ve always driven a pickup, you know you’re the first person your car-driving buddies call when they need help on moving day. A pickup bed is definitely versatile. However, not everybody thinks about all of the items truck drivers need to store on a regular basis that they don’t necessarily want hanging out in the bed for the world to see.
Ram has always been known for creating vehicles filled with features that pleasantly surprise drivers and show that the manufacturer puts a great deal of thought into the lives of their customers. If you plan on checking out a Ram 1500 for sale and you’re interested in the 2024 model, be sure to take a close look at the details. Ram designed several standard and available discreet and multi-functional storage areas in the cab and bed. These compartments are extremely convenient and even essential to many drivers. Let’s take a look.
The Rambox Cargo Management System
The Rambox Cargo Management System is an available feature that you can add to your truck bed, and we love to show it off to customers. This system consists of two storage bins that can run the full length of your truck bed, depending on your model. These bins are weatherproof, which solves a problem truck drivers often face: where to stash extra-long bed items that cannot get wet. If you travel with electric tools that can be destroyed by a bit of rainfall, these bins are an excellent place to store them.
Alternatively, the bins are an excellent place to store valuable items that won’t fit inside the truck cab but that you won’t want loose in the bed. That’s because the bins are lockable. Standard truck beds are fine for hardy materials that you aren’t afraid of exposing to the elements or revealing to onlookers. But anything that doesn’t fit that description can go inside the Rambox Cargo Management System.
The bins have lights inside of them, so you can easily view your items in the dark. You can turn the lights off when you don’t need them. If any water ever gets into the bins, there is a drain plug to let water flow out easily. The bins can support up to 150 pounds, so feel free to load them up with heavy items. Inside the driver-side bin, you’ll find a 115-volt power outlet. Plug anything with a max rating of 180 watts in there, like a phone or tablet charger.
You can lock and unlock these bins using your keyfob or a physical key you will receive if you add the Rambox Cargo Management System.

Two Glove Compartments: One Upper and One Lower
If you spend a lot of time in your pickup, you know that you have some essentials that you need all of the time. Then you have some other items you only need sometimes and that you’d prefer to keep locked up. That’s why we love to show drivers the two glove compartments in the Ram 1500.
You’ll find one upper compartment that’s great for keeping the items you need on hand. This is where you’ll keep tissues, maps, chargers, snacks, sunglasses, and similar items. However, if you look below that, you’ll find a second glove compartment. The lower glove compartment is lockable, so this is a good place to stash your wallet, phone, watch, or other valuables that you might leave in the truck when you hop out to work on a dusty site or to take a spontaneous dip in a lake. There are many times when keeping your valuables on your person does not make sense. When those times come up, put them in the lockable lower glove compartment.
The Reconfigurable Center Console
The Ram 1500’s reconfigurable center console has been popular for quite some time now. It’s almost like having a mini business center right between the two front seats. When its lid is down, you have a comfortable armrest. Flip that lid up, and you’ll find a world of storage possibilities.
A shallow tray on top is ideal for small odds and ends, like a snack, a comb, or your phone. However, beneath that upper tray is a deep bin capable of holding a 15-inch laptop. Many contractors struggle to know how to safely store the laptops that they bring along to work sites for admin tasks. This console is perfect for that. It’s also designed to hold hanging files, so you can bring those contracts or blueprints along with you, and keep them neat and organized.
Ram is known for hiding little surprises throughout their models, and if you look right beneath the lid of this console, you’ll find one of those. Some fans call them “Easter Eggs.” This egg is a full panel of math charts and rulers. You’ll find a metric conversion chart, a protractor, a right angle, and even a Pythagorean theorem. So, if you need to measure something or simply want to brush up on your high school math skills, you can do so.

In-Floor Storage
You’ll find even more hidden storage at your feet—literally. The 2024 Ram 1500 has available in-floor storage in its crew cab models. This compartment is deep enough to contain a four-inch drop hitch, giving you somewhere to stash this awkward item you might not otherwise know what to do with when you’re not using it. The in-floor storage area also has liners to keep it clean. Again, here, like in the console lid, you’ll find a ruler—this time a 15-inch molded-in one. There are even two tie-downs in this compartment to secure items.

There’s been a significant shift in the automotive industry, particularly in the truck segment, that’s challenged drivers to raise their standards and expectations of what it means to drive a truck. A century ago, trucks were designed as utilitarian workhorses meant to tow heavy loads effectively without much thought to driver comfort or ride quality. Fortunately, it’s an entirely different story today, with automakers like Ram challenging us to expect more from our trucks.
Visiting a used Ram dealership like ours paints a clearer picture of these expectations and proves why raising your standards and asking for more is perfectly acceptable. Ram is renowned for building reliable trucks that combine brute strength with luxury and innovation. Ram’s skillful mastery of this trifecta is readily appreciated in heavy-duty workhorses like the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500. The trucks take a no-compromise approach, promising to get every job done while prioritizing your comfort, safety, and experience in the driver’s seat.
So, why else should you consider a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500? How do these trucks steal the spotlight from their rivals? As your premier used Ram dealership, we have the answers. Here are our top reasons to consider Ram’s heavy-duty lineup.
#1 Your Money Goes Further
The appeal of a new truck is difficult to resist, but there’s a significant advantage to investing in a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500. Every vehicle depreciates, but a new truck depreciates faster, losing up to 11% of its value when you leave the lot and at least 20% after its first year on the road. By its fifth year, you can expect your truck to be worth around 40% of what you paid for it, with excessive mileage, wear, and tear drastically reducing this number.
Ram’s incredible reputation in the industry means each truck holds its value incredibly well, depreciating slower than most. This is especially appealing in a used Ram truck because you’re avoiding that new truck sticker price, making your money go further. So, instead of a base model Ram 2500, your budget might stretch to a top-tier trim with every luxury and tech feature imaginable, most of which are usually comparable to the newest models.
#2 You’re Investing in the Truck Brand
Ram trucks were once under the Dodge umbrella, with Dodge using the Ram head as a hood ornament in the 1930s and then introducing the Ram name to its light-duty truck lineup in the 1980s. However, in 2010, Dodge separated itself from Ram, making for one of the industry’s biggest headlines. The split allowed Dodge to build its performance-oriented lineup of Challengers and Chargers, leaving Ram to focus on its trucks.
Ram’s singular vision for trucks has earned the automaker an exceptional reputation and numerous awards. Instead of watering down its lineup with sedans, sports cars, and SUVs, Ram focuses on what it does best. The result is an extraordinary fleet of heavy-duty trucks like the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 that offer remarkable value as new and used models.

#3 You’re Joining an Award-Winning Legacy
Investing in a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 puts your hard-earned money to work, but it also guarantees you a ticket into an award-winning legacy. Ram is no stranger to the spotlight, earning countless awards from J.D. Power, Car and Driver, and MotorTrend. These awards include six MotorTrend Truck of the Year titles, including three consecutive titles that earned Ram a place in history as the first truck to achieve such a feat. Those honors were given to the 2019 Ram 1500, the 2020 Ram Heavy Duty, and the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, with more accolades likely on the horizon.
#4 Luxury Is Always Guaranteed
One look inside any used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500, and it’s easy to see why Ram has the market cornered on building luxurious trucks. Ram’s vision to bring opulence to the segment is successful, with the heavy-duty models offering unparalleled ride quality and upscale interiors fit for royalty. You’ll find everything from a single cab to a Mega Cab with class-leading dimensions to the highest-quality materials that include heated and ventilated leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and detailed wood, aluminum, and gold accents.
#5 It’s HEMI or Cummins Powered
“That thing got a HEMI?” It’s a question made famous by Ram’s advertising campaign decades ago, an invaluable marketing tool that tied HEMI to America’s most luxurious trucks. Today, buying a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 always guarantees brute strength courtesy of a HEMI or Cummins powertrain. That alone is enough incentive to jump on the Ram bandwagon.
Ram’s partnership with Cummins began in the late 1980s, with the collaboration consistently delivering more capability with every new model. By 2019, Ram made history when it debuted the Ram Heavy Duty with a Cummins producing 1,000 lb-ft of torque. That output has climbed even higher over the years, with the 2021 Heavy Duty delivering 1,075 lb-ft of diesel torque for a class-leading towing capacity of 37,100 lbs. Even without the Cummins, the Ram Heavy Duty is no slouch, with the 2021 model delivering a best-in-class 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque from its potent 6.4L HEMI V8.

#6 It’s Tech-Savvy to Keep You Connected and Engaged
Ram is synonymous with luxury in the truck segment, but it’s also successfully positioned itself at the helm of innovation. It’s often the first to adopt new technologies and features that enhance your experience in the driver’s seat. As a result, investing in a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 gives you the opportunity to enjoy cutting-edge technologies that are staples on newer models at a fraction of the cost.
The 2019 Ram Heavy Duty is an excellent example of this innovation and how Ram’s tech-savvy workhorse offers tangible value. Behind the scenes, the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 feature active noise cancellation technology, guaranteeing a near-silent cabin even when powered by the Cummins diesel. Over 100 safety and driver-assist features also work behind the scenes, ranging from forward collision monitoring and automatic emergency braking to adaptive cruise control and trailering-specific tools. You’ll also find expansive digital displays, from the digital driver instrument display to the infotainment system with its 12-inch configurable screen that offers seamless smartphone integration and access to the 360-degree surround-view camera.
#7 It’s Ready for Adventure When You Are
One of the most exciting things about shopping for a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 is exploring your options. Ram’s heavy-duty fleet boasts an extensive trim lineup with something for everyone, from entry-level trims like the Tradesman, Big Horn, and Lone Star to premium options like the Laramie and Limited. Ram also recognizes the need for a more adventure-ready rig, answering the demand with the Ram Heavy Duty Power Wagon.
A must-have for anyone looking to venture off the pavement, the Ram Heavy Duty Power Wagon is the perfect workweek partner and weekend adventurer. The 2019 Ram Heavy Duty Power Wagon garnered widespread acclaim as the most capable off-road truck to roll off the production line. As expected, it blends the brute strength of the Ram Heavy Duty with luxury and off-road capability, from its integrated WARN winch to its 360-degree camera, suspension lift, front and rear locking differentials, and off-road-tuned suspension that ready it for every terrain and condition.
Investing in the Best with Ram
From unmatched luxury and class-leading capability to innovative technologies and an award-winning legacy, there are many reasons to consider a used Ram 2500 or Ram 3500. Ram’s reputation for luxury is undeniable, but there’s far more to the truck manufacturer than opulence. Ram is also revered for building high-quality trucks that are reliable and affordable, a combination that’s hard to beat and nearly impossible to find anywhere else. Because of this, buying a used Ram Heavy Duty becomes a worthwhile and exciting investment that continues to pay off every mile down the road.

The Jeep Wrangler is truly an automobile icon and even a part of American history. In fact, though the Wrangler didn’t come out until 1986, it was inspired by an earlier Jeep vehicle that the US Army drove through battles in World War II. That should give you some idea of just how tough the Wrangler is. It has a fighting spirit, and even if today you (hopefully) don’t need such a rugged off-road SUV to go to any actual battles, you can use it to battle the elements in your many great adventures ahead. As a proud, used Jeep dealership, we love sending our customers with an explorer’s spirit off our lot behind the wheel of a Wrangler.
The Wrangler has certainly enjoyed upgrades in the ways of infotainment, driver assist, and similar technology features over the years. However, its core design and features have remained the same because Jeep sees no reason to mess with perfection. Neither do we. The Wrangler is simply timeless. When you’re looking for that perfect vehicle to help you soak up every ounce of adventure in this lifetime just a bit more, we know the Wrangler is the vehicle for you.
You Can Make the Wrangler Your Own and Experience the Great Outdoors
One of the most distinguishing characteristics of the Wrangler is just how customizable it is. But, it’s not only customizable in the same ways other SUVs are. Sure, it has several powertrain and transmission options, plus tons of available comfort and convenience features. And there are a ton of trims to choose from. But the Wrangler really stands out among adventure enthusiasts because of how many ways you can customize the body.
First, you have two-door and four-door options to give every row their own entrance or keep it simple with a two-door model. Then, you have the power to remove the top, doors, and even the windshield. This creates an incredible open-air experience. If you’re looking to feel like one with nature, you just can’t get that experience with any other vehicle the way you can with the Wrangler. Let fresh air pass through the vehicle from every direction. Get a nice tan while you’re at it by taking that roof off.
There’s a reason the Jeep is the brand of choice for Indiana Jones – it allows for unhindered access to your surroundings. Jones might use that to wrangle an anaconda or shoot at a villain, but you can use it to simply feel exhilarated. Most of us spend the majority of our days cooped up inside under fluorescent lights. The Wrangler is for that driver who wants to completely immerse themselves in the outdoors when they break away from their responsibilities. You don’t find that experience in any other vehicle.
There are, of course, several engine options on most model years. There have been several powerful V8s and V6s throughout the generations, as well as turbocharged and diesel options. Then, there are different transmission choices. These choices let Wrangler drivers design the perfect adventure machine for their needs, favoring power, fuel economy, or both when they need it.

It’s an Off-Road Superstar
The Wrangler is made for the adventurers and free spirits of the world. It’s designed to empower you to go where you want to go, even if there are no paved roads or traffic signs to be found there. For many years now, every Jeep Wrangler has had a standard 4×4 drivetrain. That means you get all the traction you need, even when the ground beneath you is made more of mud and sand than concrete or asphalt.
Then, there’s the Wrangler’s Rubicon trim. This serious off-roading superstar is designed to help you crawl over rocks, get out of mud ruts, and so much more. Its low gear range lets you get maximum torque and steer or crawl your way up steep terrain. You’ve probably seen videos of the Rubicon crawling up the sides of boulder-littered hills. That’s the power of that low-gear range. It also has rocker protection in case you go over some sharp and dangerous objects and special tires designed to do well in the mud.
We regularly have drivers who are into extreme off-roading ask us if the Wrangler can go anywhere. To that, we proudly answer, “Yes!” You can also bring whatever you need to maximize your time at your destination, like an ATV or boat, thanks to the solid towing abilities of the Wrangler. Go where your thrill-seeking heart wants to go with confidence in the Wrangler.
It Has a Truly Unique Style
The looks of the Jeep Wrangler have remained mainly untouched for decades. People love the look of the Jeep. Its boxy, rugged styling simply beckons you to explore the unknown and tackle rough roads. The cheeky vertical-slit grille with round headlights just screams, “It’s go time!” The point is that you’ll never get sick of the look of your Wrangler. Other trendier SUV styles come and go, but the Wrangler has been a classic for a long time. It’s hard not to smile when you look at a Jeep Wrangler because you know it’s on its way to a great adventure.

It Has Excellent Resale Value
It’s difficult to imagine you’ll ever get bored of your Jeep Wrangler, but if, for some reason, you do need or want to sell it one day, the great news is that the Wrangler has one of the best resale values on the market. It depreciates significantly less in the first five years than most competitors. So long as you take good care of your pre-owned Wrangler, you don’t have to take a huge loss when you sell it (except for the giant Jeep-shaped hole that will be left in your heart).
Adventure Awaits in a Used Jeep Wrangler
If you’re tired of feeling jealous when someone passes you in their cool and rugged Wrangler while you’re in your totally fine but admittedly average vehicle, it’s time to get your own model. The Wrangler is just one of those vehicles that speaks to people with an adventurous spirit. When the Wrangler bug bites you, there’s no looking back. You just need to get one of these adventure-ready SUVs for yourself. Even if you are shopping on a budget, there are many pre-owned options available, so you can fill that need for adventure at a price that fits your budget.
We at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris carry the Wrangler in its many forms and would love to help you pick out your perfect model. We carry a great selection of used models, so you can check out a particular past generation you’re after. The Wrangler has many variations today, boasting a range of utility, special features, and unique personalities. If you’re looking for a Jeep dealer near Maysville, we invite you to visit us here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris.
This region of Mason County is rich with natural landscapes that are perfect for off-roading, hiking, camping and more. From Legacy Trail to Carter Caves State Resort Park, there are tons of places you’ll love going in your Wrangler. The question is: which model should you get? Many people consider the Sport versus the Willys. The Sport is the base trim, which is certainly packed with excellent features like a powerful engine and the 4X4 capability that’s standard on all trims. However, the Willys boasts some features that the Sport doesn’t — and that could appeal to more advanced off-roaders and outdoor enthusiasts. Here’s a look at the main components these two models share, and then how the Willys levels up.
Common Features Between the Willys and Sport
No matter which of these two trims you get, you will enjoy rugged capabilities and an all-star 4X4 system that gets you traction wherever you go. Each model also has the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine, which gets you the Wrangler’s maximum towing capability of 5,000 pounds, so you can tow and trailer a moderately-sized camper, ATV or boat with both the Sport and Willys. Each trim has a eight-speed automatic transmission, and a six-speed manual exclusively on the base engine for those who like a more intimate experience when gear shifting.
Classic full doors with roll-up windows can be found on both trims, along with the option for a hard or soft top. Take off the top when you want to let air flow through your Wrangler and feel one with nature. You also have the option to swap in half doors with uppers on either trim.No matter which trim you choose, you’ll get Jeep’s advanced Uconnect 5 System paired with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. This system gives you fun features like adventure guides and trail maps to help you explore remote terrain. Smartphone compatibility comes standard on both trims, too.

Consider the Willys if You’re An Off-Road Enthusiast
What we often tell customers who are considering these two trims is that the Willys is better for longer days — and even multi-day trips — on the trails than the Sport. That’s because the Willys has several standard features that are only available for an upcharge or unavailable on the Sport. The Willys also has some great available features that are not available on the Sport. When you get to know these features, you’ll see that the Willys’ higher starting price point is justified.
The Willys Has An Excellent Lighting System For Night And Poor Weather Conditions
If you plan on staying overnight at your off-road site or at least exploring after the sun has set, you’ll appreciate the advanced lighting systems on the Willys. These include available front LED fog lamps that can cut through mist, rain, dust and (of course) fog. Positioned beneath the headlamps, these fog lamps will illuminate your path in hard-to-see conditions.
You will also get LED premium reflector headlamps standard that are not available on the Sport. LED headlamps are an excellent alternative to halogen ones for off-roaders specifically because they pull less fuel from the vehicle than traditional headlamps. If you don’t want your adventures cut short because of a need to travel back to town for more gas, you’ll like these long-lasting headlamps.
There are also available LED tail lamps on the Willys that are not available for the Sport. These are useful for letting other vehicles out on the trails know you’re there in low-light settings. Additionally, the Willys gets standard automatic headlamps that will turn on in low-light settings to illuminate your path. These are also not available on the Sport.
The Willys Has Convenience Features That Make Wilderness Excursions More Enjoyable
Throughout the Willys, you’ll also find other comfort and convenience features that make it great for long trips. One of these is the available air conditioning with Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control. After a long, hot day on the trails during a summer hike, this is a welcome addition. When you slip into your vehicle and turn on the engine, you’ll have your preferred temperature settings instantly come on.
Here’s another summer-ready feature that we think is very cool: Deep-Tint Sunscreen Windows. These can cut down on the UV radiation that makes its way through the glass, and onto your skin. On cold days, the standard power-heated mirrors will melt away ice to give you clear exterior visibility quickly. So you don’t need to get out and manually clean off the mirrors before you can hit the road.
An Interior That’s as Enjoyable as It Is Practical
When you come in from a day of hiking on muddy trails, you’ll appreciate the standard all-weather Mopar floor mats in the Willys. These should help keep the built-in floors clean and prolong their lifespan. Plus, they’re easy to take out and wipe off. If you want to listen to tunes to hype you up for your day of kayaking or ATVing, you’ll love the available Alpine premium audio system in the Willys. This system is not available in the Sport so if you demand the best in your listening experience, you’ll want the Willys. We also make a point to tell customers that only the Willys is Wi-Fi compatible, so if staying connected while you’re out exploring is non-negotiable, you might want to spring for the Willys — especially if you love to explore places that get poor phone service.

Why Choose a 4xe Model?
Jeep has been a pioneer in the industry since the 1940s, and as the decades have passed, the adventurous brand has only become more influential. Not only are 4xe models more efficient and better for the environment, but they’re also exceptionally capable and ready to take on any type of travel endeavor. A quiet, tranquil oasis awaits as you explore all of the area’s wilderness destinations while enjoying the open experience that Jeep vehicles create as you’re discovering new territories.
These vehicles pair a gas-powered engine with an electric motor to give drivers the most impactful experience imaginable. Traveling farther and immersing yourself deeper into the wilderness is easy when the 4xe models are involved, especially since you won’t have to worry about finding an electric charging station in the middle of the woods, thanks to their gas engines. You can also take advantage of various drive modes to enhance the experience, like Electric Mode for zero tailpipe emissions and eSave Mode to save the battery’s power for when you need it the most. The Jeep 4xe lineup perfectly captures the Jeep essence while propelling some of its most popular vehicles into the future of travel, making these the ideal models for drivers throughout Winchester and beyond.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe
The first Jeep model to be equipped with 4xe engineering was the rugged and ready-for-anything Wrangler. Debuting for the 2021 model year, the Wrangler 4xe has brought immense exhilaration to the journey, all while taking advantage of a highly evolved hybrid system. Armed with an exciting PHEV powertrain, pairing a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 17-kWh battery, the Wrangler provides you with 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque to take on the elements with intensity. Being able to travel up to 370 miles without having to stop and fill up/charge up, the Wrangler 4xe takes exploration very seriously.
In true Wrangler fashion, spectacular 4×4 systems are offered to craft the adventure you desire, whether you’re taking on Decoy-Magoffin Loop or Wolf Knob. Plus, with ultra-durable components, the Wrangler 4xe is ready for any type of environment imaginable. There’s no need to worry about your battery getting wet as you roll over mud puddles, as it’s sealed behind a waterproof casing to ensure its integrity, allowing you to take on up to 31.5 inches of water without issue. Expert traction, articulation, and maneuverability make it easy for the Wrangler 4xe models to keep up and outperform some of the fiercest off-roaders in the business. Plus, with available removable doors and a removable top, enjoying open-air freedom is a given. With the 4xe models, you can enjoy this in a quieter, more peaceful environment.
Charging your Wrangler 4xe is a breeze as well, whether you’re at home or away. A home charging station can be professionally installed for you, and with plenty of Jeep charging stations located throughout the country, charging on the go is absolutely effortless. Each Jeep 4xe model also comes with a Level 1 charging system that simply plugs into any of your household outlets for easy charging, allowing you to get up and go at a moment’s notice.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe
It’s Jeep’s best-selling model, and whether you’re looking for an SUV that’s perfect for your family, your adventures, or both, the Grand Cherokee is ready to add serious value to your time on the road and off. The 4xe version of this Jeep favorite was launched for the 2022 model year. It brings even more to your ride than ever, whether taking the kids to Daniel Boone National Forest for the weekend or dropping them off at sports practice after school.
Its smooth, agile ride quality is made possible by the available Quadra-Drive II system, which features a full-time 4×4 system to ensure you’re in control of your ride, no matter what lies ahead. Pair this with the Quadra-Trac II 4×4 system, and you’ll be in for maximum stability on Mother Nature’s most dangerous terrain. With the ability to send all of its available torque to the axle with the most traction, your Grand Cherokee 4xe can sense when you need more control and deliver it to you seamlessly.
A 6,000-lb maximum towing capacity makes it easy for the Grand Cherokee 4xe to take your camper or boat out for an unplugged weekend, while its premium interior allows all on board to settle in and enjoy every moment they’re traveling. Premium seating elements, plenty of space for passengers and gear, and intuitive tech allow you to have it all, no matter where the road or trails lead you. The Future of 4xe
With the growing popularity of the Wrangler 4xe and the Grand Cherokee 4xe, Jeep has committed to adding to its 4xe arsenal in the next few years. The brand plans to offer all its models with 4xe capabilities by 2025, meaning that fan favorites like the commuter-friendly Renegade and the tough-as-nails Gladiator pickup will be equipped with some of the most exciting hybrid technology on the market. Creating a driving experience that’s cleaner, more peaceful, and just as capable is the main mission of Jeep, and it’s already off to a great start with its current 4xe models.

A Modern-Day Pioneer: The Ram 2500 Rebel

When it comes to Richmond, KY, two aspects of the city make it truly unique among its contemporaries. The first is that there is an abundance of highways and interstates that crisscross through the area, making it accessible and allowing its residents to take off from the city limits and go exploring. The second, which certainly relates to the first in some aspects, are two individuals born and raised in Richmond, KY, who made a sizable impact on American history and the taming of the wild frontier.
The first of these is Daniel Boone, a pioneer responsible for the settling of Kentucky and establishing several trails that allowed people to begin the westward migration. The other is Kit Carson, a pioneer and scout who was a contemporary of John Sutter, whose location would usher in the largest westward migration during the California gold rush of 1849. The connection between the city of Richmond and exploring new worlds is certainly an intriguing one, and here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris, we’re proud to be purveyors of another pioneer, the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel. Representing the high-end of heavy-duty, it manages to embody the spirit of bravery and boldness that Richmond has always been associated with. Consider us more than your local Richmond Ram dealer, but the jumping-off point for you to tame the frontiers and accomplish the impossible.
A Rebel With a Cause
The 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is what happens when the necessity of capability and the lust for freedom come together. The Rebel manages to encapsulate all of the prowess and potency necessary for a heavy-duty work truck. Yet, it also can embrace the path less traveled and handle the rigors of off-roading. Such a combination is ideal for the modern-day pioneer. And while you might not need to plow the fields or clear large quantities of land, the Rebel is one of the most dependable heavy-duty workhorses that can be employed for any arduous task. And its extra capabilities mean that you have the ability to play as hard as you work. So, let’s take a look at the potency and performance that Ram has bestowed upon us.
Putting the “Power” in Powertrains
The 2500 Rebel has two available powertrains, each with remarkable power that allows you to move mountains with minimal difficulty. The standard offering for the 2500 takes the form of a 6.4L HEMI V8. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the base offering propels the truck forward with a whopping 410 hp and allows for a capacity to generate 429 lb-ft of torque. For those looking to maximize efficiency, look no further than the diesel-fueled Cummins 6.7L six-cylinder engine. With 370 hp and a monstrous 850 lb-ft of torque, it’s more than apparent that Ram is proving how viable diesel can be in the modern age.

Towing and Payload
Chances are, if you’re looking at the Rebel 2500, you probably have some arduous tasks and heavy burdens to carry. And, even if you don’t, your adventures might require some towing and trailering. With its ability to handle the rigors of work and play, the Rebel 2500 takes capability to a brand new level.
The term “HEMI” has a considerable amount of history behind it, as it became a common household word during the golden age of the muscle car. For Rebel owners who choose to utilize the standard HEMI V8, they’re given some excellent hauling ability. The HEMI pulls 16,870 lbs with minimal effort, and its payload abilities outshine many competing vehicles in its class with a maximum capacity of 3,140 lbs. With its ability to generate high horsepower and torque at low RPMs, the Cummins diesel engine is equally capable of delivering the goods when necessary. A towing capacity of 14,920 lbs is among the best tow ratings in the industry, and a payload that can hold 1,970 is ideal for just about any job.
Off-Road Ready
The most exciting aspect of the Rebel 2500 is its ability to go from workhorse to trailblazing pioneer. Off-road ready and capable of taming any terrain, Ram has added a host of extras to make the Rebel ready to embark where other trucks cannot. As expected, the Rebel comes standard with 4WD to make any journey possible. A set of 33-inch all-terrain tires are placed upon a pair of 20-inch wheels. Even more impressive is the added ground clearance, which extends past 11 inches to make obstructions and obstacles a distant memory and a non-issue.
Combined with a limited-slip differential, you can rest assured that traction is never lost, and the Ram will hold its grip on the ground like a strip of velcro. Tires and traction aside, the Rebel also comes equipped with other additions to give you an added layer of protection while you’re away from civilization. These take the form of a set of shocks designed by Bilstein and a variety of skid plates to protect the gas tank and underbelly of the vehicle while you travel on gravel and dirt.

Interior Sophistication
While there’s a lot to be excited about in terms of capability and prowess when discussing the Rebel 2500, we felt it was also important to shine a light on the sophisticated attributes of the vehicle’s interior. You might be exploring the wild frontier or accomplishing a task of astronomical proportions, but the interior is where you’ll spend most of your time. Ram has gained a reputation in recent years for maximizing the comfort and sophistication of its interior designs to complement its rugged capability.
Acoustic glass and active noise cancellation are in place to accentuate the comfort level, including climate control, a stylish infotainment screen with compatibility with both Apple and Android products, and voice-activated navigation. Merging technological advances with the comfort that one might expect in a high-end European luxury sedan, Ram offers an unrivaled interior design masterclass.
Get Behind the Wheel of the 2023 Ram 200 Rebel Today
It’s well-known that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. As 2023 is the inaugural year for the Rebel trim of the Ram 2500, we think it’s more than safe to say that it’s certainly left a considerable mark on the truck-buying public. Proving that off-road capability and heavy-duty workloads can be executed by a single vehicle, Ram once again proves its worth and is more than capable of taking the pickup truck to new heights previously thought impossible. Whether you’re looking for a rugged workhorse or a faithful explorer, the Ram 2500 Rebel is here to tackle the challenge with power, style, and comfort.
If you’re ready to experience the grandeur and prowess of the Ram 2500 Rebel, look no further than us here at Dan Cummins CDJR of Paris. Come in today and see how the adventurous Ram 2500 Rebel can enhance your own travels into the unknown.
Time Travel Through History in the Jeep Willys

Remakes are rarely ever as good as the original. The problem is capturing the nostalgia of what came before and finding a way to do it again, only differently. That’s why, rather than remaking the original, Jeep chose to be inspired by it. If you spot the new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys here at Dan Cummins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Paris, your local Jeep dealer, it may spark a sense of familiarity but, at the same time, show a glimpse into the future of Jeep.
The redesigned 2024 Jeep Wrangler has no shortage of new and exciting features designed to make you drool. However, it is the Jeep Wrangler Willys that takes those new ideas and throws in a nod to the “OG,” consequently taking us back in time to the start of it all. It was more than eighty years ago that the first Willys made its appearance, starting us on the road to the latest and greatest in the Jeep lineup.
The Willys MB, the Civilian Jeep, and the Jeepster
In 1940, war was imminent, and there was a need for a vehicle that could handle the rough road ahead. In a blink of an eye, Willys-Overland produced the very first “Jeep”––officially known as the Willys MB. The prototype enlisted a 4×4 system to tackle rough terrain, big meaty tires, and the iconic blocky body that would forever signal adventure.
Over time, the Willys MB changed and evolved, eventually becoming the CJ or “Civilian Jeep.” With wartime in its rearview mirror, the heroic Jeep was re-tasked with aiding farmers and workers. The jump to civilian life was an important step in the evolution that would eventually bring us to the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys.
In the mid-1940s, the Jeep CJ received a makeover becoming the Jeepster. A sports car version of a Jeep, the Jeepster is highly collectible today and a great example of the creativity and versatility enabled by Jeep. However, this new styling didn’t mean the end of the line for the Willys. Instead, it only added to the robust Jeep lineup.

The CJ and the Wrangler: A Tale as Old as Time
The CJ would see many changes over the years, eventually leading the way to the Wrangler. One important change to be made to the CJ line was the introduction of the CJ-3B in 1953. A more powerful version of the classic Jeep, the CJ-3B was very successful and stayed in production for fifteen years. It led the way to the CJ-5, a refined version of the Jeep that was larger, stronger, and all-around better for the everyday driver.
Eventually, the Jeep brand would land in the hands of AMC, one of the many businesses that took a crack at the potentially cursed car company. If you know about the Jeep curse, then you know that many companies have fallen victim to it. The original Willys-Overland was merged with Kaiser Motors in the 1950s, only for the renamed Kaiser Jeep to be bought out by AMC in 1970. The curse would see company owners throw up their hands in defeat and financial hardship despite offering a product that was literally making history.
It was in the hands of AMC that the CJ-5 would receive a shiny new V8 and some updated technology to match. One such piece of technology was a Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential, a feature that would be carried over to the larger CJ-7 (the CJ-6 was another take on a stretched Jeep but never really took off). Fitted with an automatic transmission, the CJ-7 was a truly extraordinary vehicle that honored and improved upon previous generations.
Finally, in 1987, the Jeep Wrangler was born. Although it was quite a change from the original CJ lineup, it still managed to embody everything the Jeep stood for. However, it was this new take on the original that would usher in a change of ownership once again. The struggling AMC was sold to Chrysler, which took the historical Jeep line to new heights. One factor in Chrysler’s success was the development of the Jeep Wrangler.
The Jeep Wrangler hit the roads ready to inspire adventure and equipped with plenty of off-road gadgets and know-how to conquer anything that was thrown at it. With upgraded suspension, improved dimensions, and killer style, the Wrangler pointed Chrysler and Jeep in the right direction. The new model was a massive hit and showed that the Jeep could survive. The door was open for further expansion to the Wrangler line, resulting in a community of Jeep enthusiasts.

The Jeep Wrangler of Today
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys is a special amalgamation of heroic history and innovation. From the outside, the Wrangler Willys looks sleek and modern but has more than a hint of the past. The iconic rounded headlamps, squared wheel wells, seven-slot grille, and elongated hood are all elements we can see from past generations. The Willys trim even features Willys badging, a fun throwback to the past.
The 2024 Wrangler is equipped with a powerful V6 engine that produces 285 hp. The V6 is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and is fitted with a Tru-Lok locking rear differential in the Willys. Designed to handle the rough road ahead, the Wrangler is a master of traction, utilizing its standard 4×4 capabilities to get the most out of the vehicle.
The Jeep Wrangler Willys is Trail Rated and ready to forge ahead. Improved ground clearance, exceptional approach and departure angles, and a tight turning radius make it easy to maneuver through rough and rugged terrain. The Wrangler is even designed to take to the water. With strategically placed components and waterproofing, the Wrangler can wade through nearly three feet of water with ease.
New additions like rock rails and skid plates address modern driver needs, as does the technology that fills the Wrangler. New for 2024, a standard 12.3-inch color touchscreen provides easy access to important features that are used both on and off the road. Extras like wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto make sure that every adventure is a connected one. There is even an available Wi-Fi hotspot option, definitely an addition from the present but one we are happy to see.
Learning From the Past to Improve the Future
With so many fantastic features on the 2024 Wrangler, it can be easy to forget that these advancements would not have happened without past innovations. Trying to create a revolutionary wartime vehicle resulted in a tough and enduring model that has continued to influence the automotive world for close to a century. The push for more power resulted in new styling and the use of more powerful engine components. The need for both military and civilian use inspired a system that could handle varying terrain, and the shift to civilian life encouraged designers to include more seating and a roomier, more comfortable interior.
Every problem over the years has resulted in a solution that has led us to the latest Jeep Wrangler Willys, a wonderful combination of past and present. You don’t have to live in the past to celebrate it, and the Wrangler Willys is proof of that. The Willys changed the war, the Wrangler changed the automotive world, and the 2024 Wrangler Willys might just change the way you drive.
